Erika N. Angles graduated from North Carolina State University in 2012, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. In college, she was Vice President of the Delta Zeta sorority, a member of the Order of Omega Academic Honor Fraternity and a Wake County Teen Court System Volunteer.

After college, Ms. Angles attended North Carolina Central University School of Law, where she graduated cum laude in May 2015. Her hard work generated awards and distinction among her peers. While attending law school, she served as the Executive Editor of the North Carolina Central Law Review. She received the honor of first place in the Moot Court Competition and was a member of the Pro Bono Council. Ms. Angles' legal experience during law school included work with the North Carolina Department of Justice Attorney General's Office, serving as clerk to the Honorable Judge Lori Christian and additional service with the Wake County District Attorney's Office.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Angles was an Assistant District Attorney in Judicial District 19C.

Ms. Angles is a member of Women Lawyers of Charlotte, the Mecklenburg County Bar, Family Law Section, and the North Carolina Bar Association, where she focuses on family law and criminal defense.
